1. Squash and Stretch: To make it bigger or small

2. Anticipation of the character: To think you know what is coming

3. Timing: Don't want to go from eating cake then running around  

4. Slow in and Slow out: More drawings at the start and the end then the middle

5. Arcs: All actions follow arcs
